When I was in college and I’d have to travel to and from Atlanta/Boston, I rarely bought a plane ticket. There was something Air Tran did called X-Fares. Well, they still have it, it’s just called Air Tran U and surprisingly, not a lot of people know about it. Basically you can fly standby on any Air Tan flight for $69.99.
