Wale “Breakdown” (produced by Southeast Slim of EMP/HitterQuitter)

Now that Madden finally dropped I think it’s worth talking about this song since it’s featured on it. This song is over 2 years old but has made quite the journey from DC to 100 MILES & RUNNING to a Redskins playoffs remix to Madden09. Does it have life beyond this? I think so. Is the country ready for the Huck-a-Bucks sample, HitterQuitter’s production and Wale’s flow on this record? I tink so. Peep the DJ Infamous remix for the Levi’s Unbutton Me campaign.

I always thought this was one of WALE’s best songs since I 1st heard it in DC bout a year ago. Glad he used this joint instead of something new. He’s “puttin’ on 4 our city” real heavy right about now!!!
