There is a discussion over on Okayplayer about who would be the first rapper to make an Usain Bolt reference as well as who was the first rapper to reference Michael Phelps.

Granted this was after Phelps won gold in Athens, but considering the fact that he never really entered into the American conciousness until this year means that Wale gets shine for yet another obscure sports refrence.
