It’s been a very sad weekend. On Thursday night, my friend’s father, Bernie Brillstein, a legendary Hollywood producer/manager passed away. On Saturday, one of the funniest people in the world and a friend of my dad’s, Bernie Mac, passed away. And now today Isaac Hayes passes. All of them definitely passed before their time. It’s really a shame.

Sorry to hear about your friend’s father man. I’m not very familiar with him, but you have my condolences.

Bernie Mac on the other hand, everyone knows Bernie. I first saw him in “Above The Rim” he played the homeless guy Flip.

And Issac Hayes….I loved his music, the Shaft theme is something that is always stuck in my head. His performance as Chef was awesome.
