I just got hired as the music supervisor for this documentary. I need melody-driven (not beat-driven) instrumentals for certain parts of the documentary. Kinda abstract tonal, atmospheric, ambient music with little builds and changes. NO HIP HOP BEATS. NO SAMPLES. THIS IS NOT FOR WALE.. Here are some of the other artists I am using if you want to get a better sense:

I know this is an old post,

but you should check out Kaki King: myspace.com/kakiking, she melow, but some of her songs have lyrics. so check out “gay sons of lesbian mothers” and “bone chaos in the castle”.
