1 Comments Jay-Z Show at The Palladium Grand Re-Opening

Concert was awesome. He performed for about two hours. No breaks. Bleek joined him for a bunch of songs. T.I. came out for “Swagger Like Us.” Jay has so many hits; he really covered them all. Only song I didn’t hear that I was hoping for was “The Watcher,” you know, since we were in LA. At the end for his encore, he got behind the turntables and started cycling through the first 4 bars of all his hits on the instant replay machine. Energy was crazy. He was rocking his new signature Persol shades, a black Rocawear t-shirt, what appeared to be an LRG jacket and some raw denim. I couldn’t see what shoes he was wearing. Got a few pics after the jump. No new material except “Jockin Jay Z.” Got a flight to DC in the morning; need sleep.

October 17, 2008 10:30 am Jay-Z – Roc Boys (Live at the Palladium) : Know the Ledge Website Reply

I very much wanted to go but with a upcoming move, birthday party, baby, and new dog – the funds weren’t allowing me for a jet-set night to LA for the show. But I do thank Dan & Justin for trying. Anyways, King Toan decided to be a good friend and reminded me what I was missing by calling me from the concert. I could make out Roc Boys on the phone (i think) and decided to post the videos. More info and videos at Nah Right, Miss Info, Wale/Dan, & OGHH. The next one, I’ll go to the next one… [...]
