I’m sure you most of you have seen this movie, but I know there’s at least one of you who hasn’t. WATCH THIS MOVIE. One of my favorite movies of all time. I’m gonna start posting trailers/clips from some of my favorite movies. Please share your most entertaining films in the Forum. I wanna see what people are gonna say.

“The Idea is to remain in a constant state of departure, while always arriving. Saves on introductions and goodbyes.” This movie WAKING LIFE came out in 2001. The movie as a whole isn’t that great but there are bits and pieces that are awesome. This is one of them.

So I bet you just watched that video and are trying to figure out why I named this post “Ludacris v. Eminem Freestyle.” Well I just spotted this over on Kanye’s blog and it’s crazy how shit comes full circle. Around 2001 when Napster was still poppin, I would constantly find random freestyle tracks on there and one night I found a track called “Ludacris v. Eminem Freestyle.” Well, when I downloaded it, this is all that would play; over and over. It became a joke amongst my friends and we actually just talked about it yesterday. Then my friend Zach hits me with a link to Kanye’s blog and I finally know what the song is from. Wow.

So I’m gonna get some new tatts (for me, not Wale) and I know there are a lot of really talented people who read Elitaste.com so I thought I’d see if any of yall wanna help me design some new ink for me.

Here’s a few ideas that I got running through my head:
SKY’S THE LIMIT (across my shoulders…want it to look cool, maybe a little spacey like clouds, or planets or a galaxy…any ideas? I think that Temptations font is cool but I’m open to ideas)
if I don’t do the across the shoulders thing, I wanna get two separate ones on each shoulder blade.
One side I want: “Stay far from timid, only make moves when your heart’s in it, and live the phrase ‘Sky’s The Limit’”
Other side I want: “Life should be lived on the edge, see everyday as a true challenge and then you live your life on the tightrope.”

From David Byrne @ Greek Theater

Went and saw David Byrne in concert on Friday night. Wow! Hadn’t seen him in a few years (last time was at the Hollywood Bowl with Arcade Fire) and it was awesome. Met him and got a picture (see below). He’s rocking a white Casio G-Shock which you can’t see in the picture. I also met Dr. Romanelli at the show. He and I are getting together tomorrow. Sickkkkk.
