Got way too sick, picked up a lot of heat
I read something about these

Side bar: How sick is it that my manager (A) has these shoes, (B) has a display case in his living room to house them?

Really feeling this song and video. Can you name all the covers?

Stopped by The Hundreds in LA today to see Bobby and Ben. I’m really good at distracting them from running their empire. See more on their blog.

I could totally see Omar having one of these

Yeah, it’s no Spice Weasel, but we’re pretty sure this product concept would feel right at home in an episode of Futurama. That’s right kids, it’s the spice gun — a handy device which would allow you to gun down your food in cold-blooded flavor. To use this killer, you’d lock and load the barrel with a selection of your deadliest spices, then simply spin it — Dirty Harry style — to switch up ammo. We could go on all day with clever turns of phrase describing how much “kick” this thing has, suggestions that you load it up with radish-piercing bullets, and cautionary messages like, “Never point the spice gun at a steak unless you intend to season it,” but we’ll spare you the pain. Oh, whoops.

Let’s break it down TV junkie. Sony’s new ¥38,000 (about $355) XDV-D500 features a 3-inch, 432 x 240 pixel resolution display with 160-degree viewing angle, 500:1 contrast, and a battery capable of about 8-hours of TV reception. It can even record up to 10 hours of scheduled programming to 2GB of internal memory. The itty bittier XDV-G200 brings a 2-inch LCD to the show, AM/FM radio too, then ditches the EPG and recording function. This is Japan mind you, so these sets receive digital 1Seg TV — in other words you can kiss your import fantasies goodbye.

Shouts to FADER for getting this interview out of Ross. Shit is amazing. And he’s not as fat as I thought he’d be. But he still has mitties (you know, man titties).

Shouts to WunMic.Blogspot.com for buying a ticket to the show early and posting it on NT

Back in November, me and Cameron The Male Model went to the Sidekick LX release party. Kanye was performing. Steve Aoki was DJing. As I was wandering through a random golf clubhouse in Los Feliz, a few vodka sodas deep, a song came on. It was a great song. It sounded like Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. I never asked Steve about the song because I thought I’d be able to find it on my own. All I could remember was “que sera, que sera.”
I asked many friends about this song. Friends who have a greater musical knowledge than me. Friends who get paid to know this stuff. Nobody could help me. I emailed Steve last night, he said he’d look into. Then, like an angel from heaven, Erock answered a post on I made on the Hollerboard. It was, in fact, Lisa Lisa. The song is called “Lost In Emotion” and it’s exactly where I’m at right now having figured out this song.
Side bar: (thee) Mike B had never heard this song before. He should post it on his blog which is one of my favorite music blogs
