This video and song are absolutely brilliant. I listened to the song when it dropped without the visual reference and I think this is one of the great instances where the video helps the song. Was watching MTV Jams the other night and they did a DJ Khaled block of videos (amazing right?) and this came on. Man. Wow.
I’m sure most of yall know Queen because of “Bohemian Rhapsody” but man, they might be one of my favorite bands of all time along with Talking Heads. I’d actually never seen this video until today but “Radio Ga Ga” is probably my favorite Queen song of all time. Thought you guys might enjoy. Listen to what he’s talking about. Funny that not much has changed almost 30 years later. Check out footage of Queen at LiveAid from 1985. Freddie Mercury (RIP) is killing it. His swag is like unparalleled. Look at all those people clapping along in unison.
