sorry, Nick Catchdubs getting siiiickkkk! First off we got his mixtape with Timbaland’s new artist Izza Kizza. Save for a Timbo “jacking for beats” track, no Timbaland production. I guess even when you’re signed to Mosley Music Group, you don’t waste no Timbo production on no mixtape! Click the art below to download.
And we also got this new mix from Nick called “Slick”. Too bad they didn’t track it out! Tracklist and explanations after the jump

Remember when Ruff Ryders were rocking these?
Listen to the first song in the trailer; sounds like Queen “Under Pressure” but it’s not. And then the second song sounds like The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” but it’s not! Anyway, I read this book Fierce People by Dirk Wittenborn in the summer of 2003 and it was really one of the best novels I’ve ever read. When I heard they were making it into a movie, I was very excited. I watched the movie last night, which went straight to DVD, and I gotta say, it wasn’t bad. Read the book first tho!
Off Lyricist Lounge Vol. 1
And speaking of Lyricist Lounge…remember Lyricist Lounge show?
Adobe Kuler is a great site for finding and experimenting with color combinations. You already know some of your favorite rappers, clothing companies and shoe companies use this. Now get in on the fun!
I need one of these!
I went to a presentation on Virgin Galactic a couple of months ago. It seems pretty remarkable but way outta my travel budget (at least for a few years)!
Here’s an unofficial but FUCKING OFFICIAL video for MGMT’ “Kids”. Peep the dancing weatherman! And how funny are 80s aerobics?
The MGMT concert was awesome. I think they played to a track for “Time To Pretend” and “Electric Feel”, maybe other songs too but it was noticeable during those two in particular. That’s like a rapper spitting over the regular version of his song at a concert as opposed to the instrumental. For their final song, “Kids”, they abandoned their instruments altogether and just rocked out on the mic, leading me to think Milli Vanilli and not MGMT! The concert was great nontheless; good sound, good vibes and some pretty ladies. I think seeing the show in Boston might have been better than, say, New York or LA. The aggressive artsy community in Boston plays the background here compared to LA or NY.
If you saw Cocaine Cowboys, it was probably as life-changing for you as it was for me. I’ve since seen the movie close to 50 times and have put numerous people onto the film. Now, the movie event we’ve all been waiting for…THE SEQUEL! I saw the first one in the theater and unfortunately this is straight to DVD. Make sure you cop it on July 29th when it drops. The top clip is the old trailer when they were hoping for a 2007 release. However, after a robbery halted post production, this bottom clip seems to be the real trailer
And here’s the trailer for COCAINE COWOBOYS (the first one), so you know what to expect
And here’s the video that the producers made of the surveillance footage capturing the robbery at their office
This interview is pretty mind blowingly awesome. Look how blown away Pharrell is; he’s speechless. He was talking about Junkyard Band’s “Sardines” when we were in Miami and I told him Rick Rubin produced it, he was like “seriously? you just blew my mind.” I felt cool.
